Less Fortunate Children to Smile this Christmas

Nov 3, 2014

Tampa, FL, November 3, 2014 – The Rx Care Pharmacy has joined the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program to bring smiles to less fortunate children this Christmas season.

Located at 2812 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa , Florida, 33607, Rx care pharmacy is volunteering to be a Toys for Tots drop off site.

Toys for Tots program collects new, unwrapped toys, books and other gifts during November and December each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.

Lindsey Wall, Rx Care Pharmacist says the pharmacy is honored to be part of this initiative that provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during the Christmas holiday season. “Rx Care Pharmacy has joined the Tampa bay community in bringing smiles on children's faces” she says.

Since its inception, the program has brought a tremendous difference in the life of children. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 6.8 million less fortunate children in 762 communities nationwide.

It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community.

The campaign officially kicked-off on November 3, 2014 at the new warehouse at 4662 Air Cargo Road, Suite 1500, Tampa FL, 33614.  It runs until 16 December, 2014. Most needed items are for infants aged 0-2; boys aged 9-12 and girls 6-12.

All Rx Care Pharmacies around Florida will be a Toys for Tots drop off site.
